My dad owns Abe Lee Realty, but that doesn't mean I get a free ride in his company. In fact, he often jokes about making things tougher on me – and my five brothers and sisters,for that matter. With six members of our family who are licensed, property is by far the hottest topic in my family. We study it on our free time, spend hours with our clients, and talk about it over dinner.
This translates to excellence for my clients, because I know real estate inside and out. I may be young, but I've already owned two successful businesses, and handled multi-million dollar deals for my clients. That's because I've been taught never
to rest on my laurels, but to always try harder. Just ask my clients. They'll tell you that after the paperwork is signed, I'm just getting started. I've even been known to help clients clean out the
property they're vacating, and move their
boxes into their new property.
Despite the many learning opportunities in the family business, the biggest lesson I’ve taken into the workplace from my family’s "classroom" is the importance of integrity, hard work, honesty, and how to get along with others. Real estate is the family passion, but strong ethics are the underpinnings of everything I do in my personal and professional life.This has really paid off for my clients as I interact on their behalf with those involved in their transactions. I've learned that the very best
deal I can make usually has very little to do with money, and much more to do with building long-term relationships.
Having said all of this,you might think that work is my entire life. I'm happy to tell you that it's not. I take time to enjoy our Islands by surfing, golfing, and reading; although I do admit to thinking about work sometimes while on the golf course or on my surfboard.
